25 Years of Dedication to Klinik Sanssouci: Anke Jakob Celebrates Her Anniversary

August 2025 marked the 25th work anniversary of Anke Jakob, Head of Clinic Management and authorized signatory, who reflects on a diverse and longstanding career at Klinik Sanssouci.

Having started her journey at the reception desk, she has contributed significantly to shaping the clinic’s operations with dedication and organizational skill. Today, she is regarded as a reliable and knowledgeable contact person for colleagues throughout the organization.

In August 2000, Anke Jakob joined Klinik Sanssouci as one of two staff members in patient admissions. Over time, she took on additional responsibilities in quality management and data protection, while also supporting a wide range of administrative functions – from billing and bed planning to administrative management. “It was here that I first realized how good I am at multitasking,” she recalls. Today, she has in-depth knowledge of nearly every process within the clinic.

Since March 2023, she has served as Head of Clinic Management, overseeing the coordination of medical, administrative, and technical processes – including patient admissions and discharges, nursing, catering, billing, facility services, and sterile supply. She also acts as Data Protection and Quality Management Officer, and since August 2024, as authorized signatory of the clinic. “Over the past 25 years, the clinic has grown considerably: we started with about 20 beds and 30 to 40 employees. Today, the team is much larger, and many procedures had to be developed along the way. With this responsibility comes the opportunity to continuously learn new things.”

Some of her strongest memories are linked to the clinic’s construction projects, which represented important milestones in its development. Team activities, clinic celebrations, and company runs have also remained highlights throughout the years.
